Lung cancer can present with a wide variety of clinical manifestations; but the most common symptoms, in order of frequency, are:
- Cough that lasts for a long time and changes in character
- Weight loss
- Shortness of breath
- Chest pain
- Hemoptysis (bloody expectoration)
- Bone pain
- Hoarseness
- Finger clubbing (clubbing)
- Fever, weakness, superior vena cava (vcs) obstruction (swelling in the face and neck), dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
